Contract tender documents

Hi all. We've been established for 9 months now and are doing well in the domestic market but have recently been asked to tender for some larger commercial jobs. This is fine and putting together a quote is no problem.  However, I feel I should be submitting some other document alongside the quote when tendering, somewhat introducing the business and explaining why we are best for the job but I'm at a real loss at how to put it together in terms of format and what it should include. Does anyone have a template here that they would be unbelievably kind enough to share to point me in the right direction, or at least get me out of the writers block I'm currently in?

    Be careful what you write in any supplementary paperwork as you don't want to seem too keen/needy I'm not saying you are but it may come across that way.
    If you've been asked to tender they already know something about you.
    Pricing it is another problem as if you are cheap people will wonder why yet if you come in expensive people may stay with who they know as why risk changing if the price is the same or thereabouts.
