i have always sent xmas cards to all my regular customers,i think it is a good touch, dont go to the expense of posting them though, usually drop them off when a bit quiet in the lead up to xmas(.dont do it for this reason but do get some back with the odd tenner in)
Have agree with above. I send cards to all my regular clients. A box of cards dosent cost much nowadays and writing them out dosent take that long.
Yup always have done, we order and get them printed up on line now. All of our current maintenance contracts, plus our current, recent and a few 'old' landscaping customers, some of whom have used us for 30 years or so.
No, i never used to do it with home owners. The thought of it made me cringe.
Big spenders get a bottle of single malt and the girls in the office get a box of chocolates if they are the ones that ring up and order work or ask for quotes. I don't do this with housing assoc's as it is a different type of relationship with them.
I do and always have with my domestic customers,
It's not anything to do with PR in my opinion, it's just sending a card to the people who keep my business going from year to year.
I do I think it shows a person touch and show you care that they have choosen you to carry out there maintenance. Although never get them printed as I think a hand written one is better.
