    They look a little like olive leaves and also like eucalyptus.

     

    Was this taken recently or last autumn (The pampus grass suggests it's last year)?

    Sorry no close up shots as I dare'nt risk jumping the property owners stone wall and being mauled by the large dog.

  • I think it could be pyrus, - - maybe silver sail, - just because quercus is not usually so tall to and is more rounded in shape
