I did a night class in business a few years ago, 2 nights a week for 2 years. Was very worthwhile.
yeh i had thought of that when start but never followed up might look into it more
Your probably a little late to be joining a course this semester, though it wouldn't hurt to pick up the phone and give your local colleges a ring for a chat.
You could look at doing a level 3 Diploma, i wouldn't go any lower or you could find you don't learn enough to make it worthwhile.
I did my HNC in business, nearly 20 years after leaving school with no GCSE's, it was a game changer for me and i found brains I never knew i had and ended up getting a merit.
I loved doing it, however at the time I was still in full time employment and couldn't / wouldn't be able to justify the time required to do it now.
I'm sure Gary will have lots of helpful advice :)
Hi Robbie
When i finished school just got straight into working on a golf course on day release to college as never really had the brains just wanted to work with my hands and be outside but now as older started trying to learn more and actually research and read which didnt interest me as youth as just wanted to play sports

hi steve i have done now
I'd recommend you look up your local enterprise trust who provide business advice & support to start-up and established micro businesses.
Often a source of low cost business training along with Mentor support. It is also a good form of business networking without all the pressure, hype and costs of the like of BNI et al.
I still use my local trust and love their drop in facility (inc hot desking ). It's also linked to other trusts in Hampshire which reciporcate.
I'm not a 100% sure of your location, but I checked in the directory and this may be a starting place ......
Here's part of their mission startment:
Our primary role is to offer one-to-one professional and impartial business advice and mentoring. We offer this service FREE OF CHARGE to anyone thinking of starting a business in the Hyndburn and the county of Lancashire and to new or established small and medium sized business enterprises (SMEs) in this locality.
