BT phone book ending free listing

I had a chap round to see me from the BT phone book, they called me a week or two back to tell me they were going to stop giving businesses a free one line listing in the classified section.I said fair enough and went to put the phone down but they were insistant and today the man came round to see me.My free listing is in wrought ironwork which is what I do but does not describe the garden product related nature of the business, (arches, bowers gazebos, obelisks and so on). A few years I was shelling out £50 a month with them listed under garden centres (which was the nearsest catergory they had to what I did that got a resonable hit rate), they will not let you have a specific heading to suit you, you have got to fit in with them. I told him that the only way I would consider advertising with them would be on a reward for results basis. Off he went, we did have a look at google anylitics and they were ahead of yell but LJN scored higher than either of them.
