Brushcutter for mulch blade

Hi,

My brushcutter needs replacing. I was looking for something that will be powerful enough to ocassionaly run the mulching style blade for brambles. Does anybody know if the Husqvarna 535 would be suitable or should i be looking at the 545 or Stihl fs360. The 535 is quite a bit lighter and cheaper although for normal trimming i have a battery strimmer.

    If using a mulching blade I would go with 545 or the fs360, the 545 is also a bit more powerful than the 360 and cheaper too. I have the 360 and nothing stops it with the mulching blade, The husky also comes with a harness where the stihl does not so on price point and power the husky wins hands down I just prefer stihl.

    i go with what Dave says but i prefer husky depends on what your local dealer sells

    Hi, went with the Stihl in the end as local dealer is Stihl and only a few minutes away. Very happy with it so far but need to get the shredding kit before trying it out on thicker stuff!

      Get the bigger blade and make sure you keep a good edge filed on it
