  • Depending on your current commitments and budget  if you could start early I think you could reap the benefits, if you are going into garden maintenance I would recomend leaflet drop starting February, follow up March, follow up April.

    If you wait till March it is likely your leaflet will not be on its own on the mat,  plant seed of getting maintenance sorted early and who knows what green shoots may emerge.

     

  • Last year I found queries peaked around late march, and then again in August, this being for Maintenance work. This was mostly from leaflet drops. The hardest part being conversion as there is usually alot of competition around at this time. I did find something interesting though - of the 8 New customers I took on through august 5 were due to their "new gardener" letting them down, which transpired - quit / packed in / out of business. I would go with the advice on here (its the same Given as last year), although Id leaflet every day I'm not working for £, as it does work, even if less effective in high summer.
