Best long reach petrol hedge cutter

Hi all,

I'm looking shortly to buy my first long reach hedge cutter, and wonder what peoples thoughts are on the best makes and models. My automatic first instinct is the Stihl HL100, but does anyone else have any different favourites?

Echo are great. But if the dealer isn't close I'd go for a Stihl. Echo has longer warranty and opinion on which one is better is 50/50 but there are less dealers for Echo.

    • Run Echo's for years, had Stihl and run a couple of Huskies amongst the god knows how many Echo's.

      Buy an Echo.
