  • We install a lot of artificial grass. It really comes down to what the client likes the look of. There are a lot of different suppliers and distributors out there. Always wise to check where its manufactured as a lot if the cheaper stuff is done in china and I understand there are issues with the materials used in the plastics and metal is sometimes used in the weave of the backing which can lead to expansion and contraction. I get sent samples from different suppliers all the time and I find it baffling the difference in the quality, look and feel of them

  • i use Witchgrass - mostly regency, classic for smaller areas and sometimes luxury - these are £26.99, 1.99 & £36.99 /msq.

recently had a client who preferred lazylawn, which i fitted for them, i preferred the witchgrass, but they preferred lazylawn,

  • I use a local company to me for artificial turf supply, called http://www.hitechturf.co.uk/

The picture below is the recent artificial turf job we had, very good quality turf and easy to lay =]

I do wonder if other companies lay artificial grass on sloped banks, the local installers around my area would not take the job on ? so we did =]

  • We install alot of artificial grass and would have to agree the choice and quality is staggering , although I would have to say you dont always get what you pay for we have managed to source turf now that is Around £10 m2 cheeper than than the turf we were using and the quality is comparrable to the more expensive stuff, I would shop arround and get lots of samples, also try ebay, yes most of the grass products come from china but dosnt mean that they are poor quality.

    Regards,
    Garry.

  • I do like the look of artificial grass....... I just wish it didn't look quite so perfect as that always gives the game away lol!!
