Any left-handers out there who've used a backpack blower?

As above, really. I've been offered a backpack blower, but obviously the thing's fixed to right-handed use.

I really need to think about this, as I have tendonitis in my left arm that's aggravated by the long hours of hedge-cutting and leaf-blowing at this time of the year. I can change hands to some degree with the usual hand-held blower, but has anyone else left-handed ever used a right-handed backpack machine?

    hi Paul i am cack handed mostly i use a back pack without any problems, you will get to grips with one quite quickly after all most tools are built for right handed use, haven't you had your trouser leg stuck to the air intake on your handheld? or the adjuster handle on the long reach hedge cutter getting in the way and snagging and loads of other stuff us lefties have to suffer with

    hi paul im left handed but ive learnt to ambi dexterous, basicly you have to to work to your best abilities =]

    Thanks, I think I'll get the one I've been offered and see how I get on with it; it's so cheap it's worth a try, and can always be sold on if I hate it. Thinking about it, I use the hand-held in both hands anyway, so it can't be that hard!
