  To be honest they look like great fun to drive and would be perfect for narrow access large gardens, and because toro deal a great finish and quality machine wouldn't mind one myself but couldn't use it on banks so i'll have to stick with my Toro Wheelhorse mower.

  that does look quite interesting but i cant see the benefit of 3 wheels when it would take up the same room as a four wheel machine. nice that it has a 12hp engine and that fuel tank looks massive!

  your toro looks very very much like my snapper that i use on my own lawn, single 33" blade with only one belt to stretch : )

  I would be interested too to see if anyone has of had one, looks easy to transport and looks like it does the job, I thought Toro at first but looking close don't think it is? If it wasn't so far from me I may have bought that!!

  Hi neil the only advantages i can see would be the reduced turning circle and the reduction in weight compared to the 4 wheel model and my toro happily cuts a 13 acre estate every month which most people would find surprising for 10hp 32 inch ride on mower =]

  I had thought I'd like one until seeing this video!

  Ben - as I remember it they were banned / withdrawn and I guessed it was because you would be sitting too near the blade - but I've just read they were discontinued in 2006.. because of lack of sales and I think were actually made by “Yard Works” ----

  In 2001 Wolf-Garten tried to convert a Smart car into into a “Zero laser mower” which used lasers instead of cutting blades :- No idea what became of it?
