I'd clean up under the engine, check the oil, run the engine for 10 minutes or so and check whether there's an oil leak still and if there is, where it's coming from .... its unlikey to be anything serious if its only been used once. With such little use, they must be worth half the new price minimum i'd say.

if its been sat funny the oil could have leeked out through the air intake and will have fouled the sponge filter as Graham says check the oil clean it up and run it for quit a while then check it for leeks again
