A good accountant will charge around £300 - £450.00 a year, we pay a lot more than that as a limited company.
£300 plus VAT would be about right for the (expensive) south east, I'd guess it could be cheaper in other parts of the country. That's with me doing pretty much all of it; I give full spreadsheets rather than a bag of receipts!
I could do it myself, but he pays for himself with things he claims back that I'd be unsure about.
I use a chartered accountant do his lawn he charges me £500 + vat
I charge him £120 no Vat do 3 weed kills around his office and car parks £90 no vat he worked hard at school I played hard at school
To quote my accountant "Its not what I charge you its what I save you that matters"
I am happy with the way my tax affairs have gone to date.
There is an accountant I thinking about using. i'm not 100% sure how it works but everything goes online and he charges £50 per month.
same here, i do all the preparation (everything goes on an excel book keeping spreadsheet) and sign my life away, he just applies the info i give him.
