Trade in or keep running. Who trades in/sells on and replaces their hedge trimmers after one or two seasons

Thinking mostly of Stihl equipment due to their high second hand value.

I realise this is a broad question as some trimmers will get far more use in a season than others.

However I have noted on ebay that a year old HL 95 or 100 will attain around 80%
