Pots and Planters

Does anybody know of reputable supplier of pots and planters in small quantities but trade prices? Always trying to find different ones for cutomers but prices can be prohibitive or else wholesalers are only selling by the pallet load which defeats the purpose ever so slightly.

  • I have found IOTA are really great. Not that cheap, but products are top quality, delivery on time and good to deal with. Trade % discount depends on the £ amount ordered.

  • Thanks Kerrie, Have been on their site a few times and like their products as you say not cheap but I will bear them in mind. I'm always wary so its good to get recommendations.

  • Yorkshire Flowerpots are a very good product and it seems you may be able to contatc them through their website. They sell them at my local independent specialist perennial nursery which is quite a small operation so I would imagine they don't demand high order quantities from everyone. They also sell them at RHS Harlow Carr and I have used them as a consumer for about five years. They're guaranteed frostproof as they have a special breezeblock-type core which is then surrounded by the terracotta. I think a 9-10" flower pot usually retails at about £5.
  • Thanks Andrew,
Have checked out website and looks good. I'm trying to build up a price range to suit different budgets. I've contacted them so awaiting reply another plus is they do not have a stockist near hand so might b in with a shout. Thank again

  • Oh, good stuff. I hope they work out for you. I do really like their pots and I think they're a good range to go for - a bit more of a premium range perhaps but worth recommending as they last very well.
