Greenmech CS100, brilliant little machine, has saved me a fortune in dumping fees.
Go look at the Eliet Pro Shredder range .
Search LJN - there's a lot on this subject, here's starter:
Andrew
Why not talk to LJN member Martin of GreenMech? or Lucy Dalrymple or Arbor Eater
More shredder info on LJN here too:

Thanks all for your response! It has made me think wherther or not investing in a shredder would be worth it and if i am going to invest i would have to spend a bit more for a decent more powerful make/model like the cs100!
There are very few independent / unbiased reviews of smaller shredders on the net and as you will possibly need to pay more for one than any other piece of equipment you'll want to choose well.
This is a glowing review of the 5.5hp Makita but I wasn't sure I trusted it, partly as fredshed.co.uk reckons “its not as effective” as the electric Bosch shredder!. I can't find any other info about this anywhere – not even on Makita's web-site
- here's an informative review I found of the Eliet Minor (currently £1750)
I'd keep an eye on e-bay for a while longer and see what comes up, check 'completed listings' to gauge turn around... I've been reluctant to buy second hand - until this morning – we took the day off so's I could force / snipe this clean looking Eliet Major at the last minute - it went for £1200
(what I've always wanted.. next to a Jo Beau)... while I was waiting I found this video and I changed my mind again
Is this a promotion video or showing reasons not to buy?
We have this machine. On the plus side it can be taken into rear gardens and is relatively cheap compared with the comparable sized machines with a shoot. Reduces waste to about 25% so fewer visits to tip.
Negatives: As can be seen, its slow with the steel grill used here, to speed up we replaced it with a cage(£60odd), but will not chip up so small. Drops straight onto ground for you to pick up. Small hopper so wont take awkward shapes(as shown). A 40mm branch at right angles will jam virtually every time.
Been useful, but find it hard to justify the time taken chipping, collecting etc. Looking at replacing with next step up, would like to access rear gardens
