I have the stihl battery gear, including an HSA 86 and HLA 66. I bought them in 2019 and they have seen plenty of commercial use. They have never missed a beat. No issues or problems whatsoever. I haven’t even needed to sharpen the blades yet.
I would certainly recommend them. I would never go back to using petrol hedge cutters. I would never go back to a using petrol strimmers either after using the FSA 130 with the AR3000 for the past couple of years.

2 years is not good for commerical gear what ever the make. I have had a stihl petrol hedge cutter since 2016 which has never missed a beat and its done alot of work. If i could make any suggestion it would be to keep away from Husky in my experience their pro stuff is top end home user whereas Stihl makes good pro gear. Can't speak for the Battery stuff though and to be honest my long reach needs replacing now but I think I will get another petrol one.
I brought last year Stihl hla65/ hla85 and hsa86. Love them so much, changed my life. Still got the petrol for the rough stuff.
I chose Stihl battery, not because it's the stuff I've always owned, because my Stihl/husky dealer said that the husky stuff was unreliable and had many faults. I was tempted by the husky, the build quality is so much nicer.
I mainly use the Stihl battery hedge trimmers. I have tried other types but didn't get on with them. Husqvarna is a brand that is traditionally associated with quality in the petrol gear, they also own the Flymo and Mc Culloch brands, amongst others. Cordless gear is normally very reliable in my experience. I have never tried the Husqvarna let alone long term use
All the petrol husky is good stuff. I much prefer the husky PPE to Stihl.
the build quality on the higher end Stihl battery kit eg HSA94 is better than the HSA86 for example. However the convenience and light weight of some of their less expensive gear means I still choose it for certain applications
Stihl does make some good gear both homeowner and pro.
The husky battery stuff is all on quality par with the stihl. Can't be doing with the umbilical cord on Stihl pro although I would like hsa94 for hedge renovations.
Good to get some opinions glad I joined the forum , tha , it's a difficult one as I did some trimming today with my Stihl kombi km 131 r and yes boy does it get heavy on the shoulders after a while , I actually got an old kombi km 94 RC I got cheap secondhand I don't normally buy secondhand but came with an unused pole cutter attachment on eBay that I've put in for carb kit see if get it running as that's lighter and find it's very well balanced but will probably end up getting some kind of battery hedgecutter maybe a small one for small bushes eventually but scared now of spending on them
