Youth Wage Incentive

Noticed that a lot of people are taking on/considering apprentices but not seen the above incentive mentioned,if teaching gran to suck eggs apologies.
Basically if you take on a young person 18-24 the government will pay up to £2275 (full time) £1137.50(part time)once the young person(YP) has completed 26 weeks in employment,they also supply work boots,trousers and high viz jacket.More details can be found by phoning the work programme on 0808 208 2123.
We have recently taken a YP (after breaking a few!) and have found that they can,with a little encouragement,work hard its just a question of surgically removing their mobile phones first!
