Wow... what a night down South, weather wise last night...floods, trees down, rubbish everywhere and still see idiots going past @80mph and finding standing water in the fast lane.

So much for a quiet day and early Christmas finish. Panic calls to deal with a few small downed trees, then this one at one of our business parks ....100ft Conifer

 
Made safe and left to finally deal with after Christmas.  Question is..as no one was around...did it make a noise ;0) ?

    Indeed. The weather was ridiculous yesterday evening. It wasnt great Saturday and Sunday, but yesterday evening it was on another level.

    Found standing water on the Whitney bypass on our way to Cheltenham on Christmas Eve. Perfect sunny conditions, empty roads and no reason to slow down.

    We weren't doing xxx MPH in a RWD car with no safety aids, honest, but if we were it would have been scary!
