Interesting question Duncan - it's a similar questions I asked many moons ago - what side of the brain does a gardener use?

The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

    LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
uses logic, detail oriented, facts rule, words and language, present and past, math and science, can comprehend, knowing, acknowledges, order/pattern perception, knows object name, reality based, forms, strategies, practical, safe

    RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
uses feeling, big picture" oriented, imagination rules, symbols and images, present and future, philosophy & religion, can "get it" (i.e. meaning), believes, appreciates, spatial perception, knows object function, fantasy based, presents possibilities, impetuous, risk taking.
    • This is crazy!!! My left side of my brain has just taken over the right side. I swear she was anticlockwise to begin with. Now everytime I look she's clockwise!!

  • Apparently you can: 'Dyscalculia'
The dancer's going anti clockwise for me. Does this mean I'm a clever s*d or a nitwit?

I don't understand (doh). She is turning clockwise isn't she?

Personally I have always struggled with numbers & calculations even from a primary school age. I don't know if you can be numerically dyslexic but I'm sure I am. It still affects my confidence now when working out areas & calibrating.
  • she spinning mostly clock wise some times anti clock wise. all was been strong on logic maths & art.
right left handed but mostly right handed for most other things.

I can walk into the garden and very easily get the design into my head ( was going to use another word but could't find the correct spelling)

I walk you round the garden wont remember the plant name but will know we to plant how to prune.
I struggle with doing plant list so tend not to offer a full garden design service but give me a budget I know in my head what I want see the plant not the name.

I tend not to blog to often as spell checking sort out the spelling mistakes but I also mix words up or miss them out and cant see the problem. I will have to reread this several times to check.
interestingly I can read upside down and backwards with out a problem.

I am dyslexic and find that quiet a a though landscapers and trades people are
  • Interesting insight into this subject .
She describes the effect of a stroke on her left hemisphere. Worth watching

  • im super dyslexic i can read very well, but my hand righting is shocking and i need a calculater for even basic maths, thats crap and frustrating, however i make most of my work straight from my head i dont do workshop plans draw as i dont need to i see the stuff in 3d and make it
  • Same as Rowly.
  • I can only see clockwise however hard I try :/

I can change her direction; almost at will (although when I first start watching, she seems to be clock-wise)

Little tip, scroll down until you can just see the foot and the shadow of the foot - I'm almost getting here to change direction after every rotation.
