Dunlop available in sports direct are reasonably hard wearing .
My wife also bought me a pair of black jeans from poundland for a fiver brand pepco they pass as work trousers and seem to be indestructable and very comfy but i understand they sell actual work trousers in poundland so i might take a look .
I get mine from Aldi less than tenner and last over a season
I always used to buy Engelbert Strauss kit, which you can have printed/embroidered at a reasonable cost too. Long lasting, well made and look pretty good too!
Dunlop trousers/shorts like John mentioned. Also from Screwfix site trousers, the fleace's are good and DeWalt shorts.
Debenhams cargo trousers like them comfy £35 a pair i use the green ones
For Autumn through winter and early spring, I wear Blaklader gardening trousers and jacket. Super warm and windproof. Really well made and loads of handy pockets.

cargo trousers in the summer £15 as there is plenty of pocket in winter moleskins £25 as i usualy have a body warmer on with pockets
