Wood chip

What would you advise for a shady area under trees - wood chip or bark mulch? I want to use something top quality and long lasting.

  • Hi Rachael, I sell woodchip myself and its about 1/3 the price of bark chippings however it tends to decompose faster than bark as the chips are smaller. Another disadvantage to woodchip is that it gradually fades from brown to a paler colour. Depends on your budget I suppose.
