I live in Parkend and this isn't news to us, most of the sports fields in the area have suffered the same fate at some point and boar numbers are up again this year.
For anyone facing the same problem or who thinks that boar may be in their area I recommend this fencing guide.
The imporant thing is that the barbed wire goes along the bottom, this stops them lifting the fence up, posts and all!
