White rendered retaining wall question

Hi, I've got a client wanting a Mediterranean style garden with White rendered walls. We are up in Scotland and I'm wondering if there are any weather proof alternatives to the traditional sand/cement method (scratch coat and finish coat). Thanks.

  • i used somthing like this on my extenshion about 6 years ago and it still look good it is harder top put on than sand and cement render and when it gets to a certain hardness you use a scratcg flote to take the surface off but that can take anything from 4 hrs to 24 hrs depending on the wether (one day i was doing it at 6 am before i went to work)
