I've had Nokia for years and was always happy with them. I had to replace the last one because it was out of memory. The new Nokia I brought had battery problems so I returned it. And exchanged it for (dare I say) a Samsung a14! I've had it six months it's been a great phone with no problems. Just a bit to big for bending over with it in my pocket.
Currently using Oppo , most intuitive phone I have owned to date bearing in mind I am useless with technology I find it easy to navigate .
No problems to date , two years old , battery life average , use it for directions good sound quality ,never lost a signal .
Various price points depending on what you require , I would replace this with another .
I'm always being told by my kids to move with the times and get a "smart phone". Trouible is I love my simple Nokia 130.......... not much bigger than a fag packet but its so small, fits in my front jeans pocket and you don't even know its there till it rings. Charges up in an hour and stays charged for a coupole of weeks. Another bonus is these little phones only cost about £20. True, you can't get the internet, emails, but I can do that when I'm at home. It does have atorch though which comes in handy!
If you like Nokia I would look at the xr20, quite a tough wee phone, water and dust resistant. Comes with 3 year free security updates and gets 5 trees planted with every purchase and with trade ins it's £250.00.
Had mine a year now and listen to planet rock on it all day as well as calls and emails etc and the battery lasts all day.
Thanks Dave, did look at it. But having read reviews that were negative on the Google assist, tinny fluctuating volume speakers and the on, off button doubling as camera function dismissed it. Perhaps you could comment? Appreciate it maybe more appropriate for the conditions in our trade as a so called tough phone but we've never had issues with using non tough phones. Current favourite is Motorola G62 5G which at £180 seems to tick all the boxes , if anyone has one be interested in their thoughts.
I always used something like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164956477467?epid=16039052733&hash=i...
Cheap just over £100, does everything and TBH is as good as the premium makes, sometimes better.
In a word Xiaomi. I used to buy premium phones. Now I am on my second Xiaomi & they are excellent - friends that have them say the same. Buy online from a Chinese seller that offer shipping from Europe. You can also buy from phone shops but pay more.
My last one cost 200 & matched the i phone in performance. I put in it a Spigen armoured case with a good screen protector.
I have a phone called it's ULEFONE Armor 14, It's robust, waterproof drop-proof dropped it on patios and it still works. Take a look at the phone on YouTube Mine is on a contract with "The Phone Trader from Northhampton" They are always very helpful need to chat with either Vanessa or Sam.
These phones are so tough you can drive a car over them and they still work..
