Well Geoffrey, this is where we get into politics...and the corporate interests that influence government agencies such as Defra--Montsanto and co, Bayer chemicals, etc. In my practice I simply boycott all those corporates, and am working together with other networks, such as the Permaculture Association, Garden Organic etc to carry out a professional service.

He has written masses and developed many alternatives (ie www.pictorialmeadows.co.uk) that councils and county councils can use, if they are so minded. Nothing is stopping them, except dinosaur thinking. There are many examples of councils with a more enlightened environmental approach on the website.
