What spreader?

It is time to start thinking about replacing the spreaders and I am toying with either the Scott AccuPro 2000 or the TROJAN 30.The spreaders will be used mainly for granular fertilisers and to a lesser degree grass seed and the odd sandy top dressing.I like the Trojan - it looks a better machine and cheaper but would appreciate any comments particularly if you have any of the above or other recommendations.

    it has to be stainless, check out sherriff amenity or rigby taylors

    let me know the best price you can get for both these models,as we have accounts with both rigbys and sherriff ,both do these models,maybe able to get a good discount.

    Agree about being stainless steel. I saw the Trojan 30+ at Sherriff's. I have been quoted £390 for the Scotts Accupro 2000 but have to seriously think twice if it would be a wise investment.

    On the subject of prices - what could you get the Hayter 48 PRO for? I been quoted £525. Even Golf & Turf couldn't match that price so I am fairly confident I would be getting a cracking deal.

    hayter harrier 48 pro, around the £618- £650 including the vat.....

    stainless frame is a must ,plastic/grp are good for hoppers as well as stainless
