Honda 537 hrx hy
Why have you discounted a honda hrx?
I have the honda hrx 537 hy i find it to big for most of my gardens was thinking of selling it on
good battery machine especially for smaller gardens unfortunately the bosch model i swear by isn't available any more, luckily I bought several when they were being discontinued, for small gardens need something that is rapid to get on and off the vehicle, light and super fast to whip round with, leaving a top notch finish, in and out before the house holder even notices and threatens a cup of tea, lifted back on the truck with one hand almost before the blade has stopped spinning, and off to the next one, time is money !
Not a fan personally. Have you used one before? I have and it did a wheelie every time I engaged drive, even on lower speed settings. and the bag stuck back right into my shins so I had to walk awkwardly. Terrible on edges and will take a chunk out easily. Bit more money but I would go for a Stihl
I havent used ine yet have use etesia hondas and stihl battery thought the still was all plastic thought i would give webaing a try just not sure what size i find the honda hrx 537 to big for some of the smaller gardens with fences etc
Ok mate. If you think the Honda is too big maybe the Stihl is. But not much in it, and you will be glad for it on the bigger gardens. The model I'm talking about is Stihl rm655 rs. Don't think there's any more plastic than other mowers other than the plastic box which is brilliant. Bags full, don't worry about it ripping or rotting or getting soaked in the rain.
all the best
Throw a curve ball ! Look at the Mountfield SP 46 £300 ideal for small lawns and cheap!
We use the Stihl 4 series mowers for our small to medium lawns. Variable drive, light, fantastic wet collection. We turn them up a bit and find they can cope with most things no real issue. Can also pop a mulch plug in if you want to mulch to a reasonable standard from time to time. Pretty cheap and last well for the price.
weibang i have run for past 5 years and great mowers, living in scotland i needed something that picks up well in the wet so i would get a high lift blade put on if buying one makes a difference.
