What a pair of total degenerates. That wee gesture at the end, obviously knew he was being filmed.. I hope the scumbags get their just desserts one day.
  • Thanks for sharing Phil. Appreciate it.

      No problem Andy

I've been through this myself and I know how hard it is.

I really hope they catch someone.

Hi Andy, where are you based? May be able to help you out with a mower if you need one short term till you get back on your feet?

And possibly a hedge cutter buddy...
      • Thank you very much for your kind offer. I should be back up and running by the end of next week. I've got the tools to a carry out a few jobs this week. I'll be buying a couple of new bits tomorrow. Thanks again. Very much appreciated.

I think you'll find Andy in Lincolnshire

  • It sickens me to see that. My van was broken into 5 weeks ago and hedge cutters, strimmer, blower etc taken, all stihl. Unfortunately not insured (my mistake) and it really hits you for six.
How was entry gained? My van is also a transit and there was no damage, police thought they may have had a fob. Unfortunately I had no cctv so police said there wasn't much they could do and gave me a crime number.
I have replaced my tools now and they go in the garage every night without fail, lesson learned the hard way!!
    • They got in using a Tibbe key or similar device. Available to anyone who wants one off Amazon for £20.

The key disarms the alarm and opens all the doors. At the beginning of the video you see him at the drivers door and after a few seconds the indicators flash and that's it.

Very infuriating. I contacted my MP and the police commissioner about these keys saying that they shouldn't be available to anyone without a locksmiths license. It fell on deaf ears.
