I would speak to Keeley at SJL Insurance Services.
Best to get these policies at the same time as all your others need renewing (if possible) as it will give you a much better bargaining chip with the broker. Get them to explain what situations are covered and what aren't, what you'll get if you make a claim etc - not all policies are the same, and SJL were very good at explaining the various quotes.
Trust Insurance are good,
of the top of my head, Public and employers liability and tool cover 10K is around £75.00 per month
It's all fine and dandy until you need to renew after making a claim. I would put a lot of effort into securing and alarming your van, and linking it to your mobile. Pretty easy these days.
Sadly, you need to get hit for north of a couple of grand to be worth claiming for in my experience. So people inflate their claims. Which inflates premiums across the board. It's a loose-loose situation, unless you're a thieving scumbag it would appear.
