I got a phone call yesterday with an order of 100 metres lawn edging, the gentelman said that he orderd my product about a year ago, needed more but just rememberd to order now, but he is suprised that I never mentioned that it can be great answear for controling moles and rabbits.

I am sure most of you knows that I know the in and out of my products from production and use , but I am afraid I do not know much about rabbits and moles ( Ok, my daughters have pets rabbits but that is not the same of course).

How deep do they dig? what will they do if bumped to an edged area?

I do not feel that I can just add that on the label because a one customer said- on the other hand he said that it is commown problem in some areas that he think it could be great.

please, your opinun

  • I think you would need to be a metre plus to have a chance of discouraging moles as I regularly catch them in a walled garden which has substantial footings.

    very interesting info,

Does anytype of fencing with no big holes stop rabbits ? or will they chew it?

  • can get a elec fence for keeping rabbits out
  • lump of lead in left ear is best answer  to rabbits

  • My understanding is, rabbits will dig under a vertical barrier but, if you go down 50mm and then out another 100 or 200mm they get bored with trying to dig under the wire. It needs to be chicken wire or similar and doubled over for strength.

I think Roy's idea is best as they do taste nice.

Moles are just bad and fences wont stop them.
