Wet cutting rotary mower?

Hi any recommendations on a mower more suited to cutting (and collecting) wet grass. Ideally petrol, rotary with roller, 50cm+.A salesman recommended the Arco Liner, it has a dual cut blade and a largish grass box entrance. Is there anyone with first hand experience of a mower that works well in the wet?

If we are talking really wet grass then Etesia or Viking MB655VR, if it's just a bit of dew and light rain then you could try the Weibang pro, forget the atco Liner, I've a friend with one and every time it rains he try's to pinch my Viking, he loaned his atco to me to try and was poor in comparison to my Etesia/ Viking and Weibang, good luck
    • Both Etesia and Viking MB655 pro are ok in the wet, but not a patch on a fan assisted mower such as the Lawnflite pro.

      • Ben what form does the fan come in? Is it a separate unit?
        • Just checked, my danarm thing also says fan assist. I think it must just be the shape of the deck

Dan, the fan is above the blade, between the blade and the blade clutch unit. Big white plastic thing. Models with fan also have a set of cut outs in the clutch housing surround facing the grass box, which directs air flow from fan to grass box keeping grass cuttings in motion so to speak. Hope this helps.
            • Ah I never thought what that bit was for!

Get the engine sped up and a hi lift blade and these Honda rollers really are good. Though I'm finding bags clog up quickly and need washed regularly. A Honda roller with a hard plastic grass box...now that'd be good.
      • I agree Ben, I've owned an etestia now I bought a new lawnflite pro and will own any long, wet lawn.
        • All good chat gents, useful info for those lesser informed.

Weibang 56 pro for roller or Etesia 53 duocut for 4 wheel. We have both, and both are good in the wet. If could only have 1 it would be the Weibang. Sure, they are more money, but both are proper professional machines.

Got to say Viking on this one. Although they are a nightmare at getting broken all of the time. I seem to always have one of the two in the shop. I wish they were better made...
