No BBC is a good thing, the non BBC Weibangs have been good for wet grass collection, all I would say is make sure you can up the revs a little on the engine and check the blade, I know that my pro models have a better blade on the non BBC models than they do on the BBC models, higher wings etc. Solid machines, although I've gone for the Stihl machine for last season and this coming one and have been pretty happy with it.

I second that, Harry. I havent got the 56 but have 2 48 Weibang Pros. A BBC and a non BBC. The non BBC has a much better pick up in the wet because of that high winged blade. Both are good but the non BBC is brilliant. I'm seriously tempted by the Stihl though, it's the only bit of stihl kit I don't seem to have and I feel like I'm missing out!
we run them - have dealer turn the speed up a bit and a high lift blade , weve run with them for two seasons and can use in all weathers unlike the hayters which are utter useless with wet grass IMO
