Read this article. people need to think very carefully before using Glphosate

Do you really believe all that ?
Hi Gary, I don't normally but there is a growing body of international scientific evidence on the subject and that's not just by the WHO. History tells us one thing and that is large corporations have repeatedly put profits before the health of the puiblic. The question should be, why do you not believe it?
Have read of this article which highlights Glyphosate residue found in both humans and animals including dairy herds

WHO to believe though Steve?
"The BfR’s report found “very limited evidence of carcinogenicity” in mice exposed to glyphosate, and recommended its re-approval, with a relaxation in the acceptable daily intake from 0.3 to 0.5 mg per kilogram of bodyweight per day.
A BfR spokesperson said that another WHO working group had also concluded that glyphosate was not carcinogenic, and an expert task force would soon clarify the health body’s position."

Hi Phil, There is much more evidence out there than that by WHO. Scientists have been looking at this for years. I understand they will probably never be able to say 100% that it causes cancer but what about the chronic conditions. I know one thing I would think twice about putting milk from certain herds on my cornflakes. I stopped using Glyphosate products a long time ago. However I do understand it is a personal choice.
Just wanted to add that this is a great post. It is a subject that needs much more consideration and discussion
Me too.
People are naive if they believe these reports with understanding the source. The facts are engineered or paid to fit the 'cause'. I do not believe them, just as do they believe all the "Pro" comments. The Anti GM / Green brigade don't help the cause as they have their own agenda.
And for every "Anti" article there is an equal "Pro" article.
It's a slugging match and some of what is said by both sides is so contrived, so rigged, so biased - it's laughable!
It needs a pragmatic approach to find a solution...
Like I said Gary. It is an individual choice. However you are missing the point. I have no problem with GM foods or their development. This is a primarily a health issue relating to the use of pesticides and their affect on us. The Netherlands, Russia and Mexico have banned Glyphosate products for domestic use and are considering their use in commercial farming.
This is much more than an anti GM brigade. It is our duty and responsibility to make sure these chemicals are safe.
