Glyphosate will work but much more slowly
Agree also. This October has been so mild shrubs have slowed right down in growth but the weeds are popping up everywhere
Good old Glyphosate ..till its banned by DEFRA !
Glyphosate is the most active out of any product in cooler weather as Nick says...but still only when the plant has some activity so results will be progressively slower and slower.
Many products cannot be used past the normal growing period April-October so read the restrictions section on your product label carefully.
In general, if it can be used they will only be effective when you still see 'active growth'...(new leaf)....so very few products will be usable past the first frosts except for special residual winter products like Propyz, Kerb Flo & Hurricane: HERE
