Weedkiller for Horsetail

All my gardens that I maintain have horsetail weed shooting up. Tried to tell the customers that the only weedkiller that will kill it is whippet or kurktail. Only problem is they dont want to spend that much on a weedkiller. Have used ammonium sulphamate in my garden before as you cant get rootout anymore. Any one got any suggestions thanks

    Hi David,

Kurtail is the original horsetail killer and does a great job - we have tested other herbicides and selective weedkillers such as Kaskara will also have a good effect. MCPA has also been shown to have an effect but this is largely only boom spray applied.
Whatever you choose it will be consistent use that wins the day - its a nightmare weed that could survive a nuclear strike (...untested theory)

    • Many thanks if I could buy a bulk order that would be great as I would be using it a lot.
