weedkiller fertiliser

Is it possible to buy a weedkiller fertilizer for use on lawns? I have my pa1/6 and actually tackled some japanese knotweed the other day( ps thanks to all who replied to that post) I offered to treat someones lawns with weedkiller and he askex if it had fertilizer in it too. It got me thinking are there any products that do this for a nap sack sprayer? I have used granules before and luckily it was my own lawn and all they did was scorch it even though i used the correct amount in a spreader and watered it well in. Thanks.

So far this season I have used around 400kg of granular and have only scorched once and that was my own fault. As to the original question I'm not overly sure but you could mix some liquid fert in with the selective weedkiller?? Although normally I would only use the selective as a spot treatment
  • Morning Adrian,

We have a product called Nutri-gem that is a liquid foliar feed that some of the LJN members have had very good results with. This is a link to a post I have put on about the product:

    http://www.landscapejuicenetwork.com/forum/topics/liquid-fertiliser...

It has the advantage that it can be mixed with quite a lot of the selective herbicides, so you can make your own one-pass weed and feed.

If you want any more information, please get in touch.

    Cheers Ollie

  • I have not used weedkiller fertilizer.
But prefer to use Hydra Bio Growth, soil conditioner, to improve soil quality and enhance plant growth.
