    Hi Guys,

One of the things it said on my report was that

www.asking4gardening.co.uk and asking4gardening.co.uk were two different sites although the content was / is identical and that there should be a permanent re-direct.

But I didn't know the other site existed, does anyone know anything about this?

  • In simple terms, your domain is asking4gardening.co.uk, and you have the subdomain www.asking4gardening.co.uk. Both of these are serving the same content, and as a consequence the search engine web crawlers will lower your rankings.

To get better SEO rankings you should set up a 301 permanent redirect from the www subdomain to the main asking4gardening.co.uk domain. Ask your ISP how to do this.

    Thanks Keith.

It's at this point I have powerful urge to leave the computer and return to what I know best, the garden!
