Hi Guys,
One of the things it said on my report was that
www.asking4gardening.co.uk and asking4gardening.co.uk were two different sites although the content was / is identical and that there should be a permanent re-direct.
But I didn't know the other site existed, does anyone know anything about this?
In simple terms, your domain is asking4gardening.co.uk, and you have the subdomain www.asking4gardening.co.uk. Both of these are serving the same content, and as a consequence the search engine web crawlers will lower your rankings.
To get better SEO rankings you should set up a 301 permanent redirect from the www subdomain to the main asking4gardening.co.uk domain. Ask your ISP how to do this.
Thanks Keith.
It's at this point I have powerful urge to leave the computer and return to what I know best, the garden!
