Virtual landline number

I am looking to put a virtual landline number on my advertising this year to add a bit of credibility to my business.

Discussion in the past here seems have suggested Tamar telecom as being the prefered choice would those who use it still recommend it or are other suppliers now better.

I am looking for a seamless customer experience more than the very cheapest cost.

  • I use Voiphone, always had good service, was worried about the odd droput, but no, they have been really good. Plenty of bells and whistles if you want them.

  • I use https://www.birchills.net

Best customer service of any company I’ve ever used.

Only costs a few pounds per month. Landline calls directed to mobile. VoIP phone that plugs into router

  • I use Invoco https://www.invoco.net/

Cheap, good customer service, free voicemail, call blocking etc.

Costs me 99p a month for my number, and then a small cost for calls.

    • That sounds really good - the voip approach has more than I need.

I use Invoce too.  Good customer service.  Virtual landline is great value.  I don't have a mobile number on the van or website anymore.

We now have (through an app) the ability to dial out from our mobiles and it shows the virtual landline number.  This is extra cost to the standard Virtual landline but it keeps it looking professional and keep your mobile number safe from customers who would be a PIA if they had it.
