Viking/Sthil Mower Parts Diagram

I have an elderly 2009 Viking MB 655.1 VR and the drive no longer works.  I can't find more than the basic owner manual on the internet. I wonder if any other members had access to any parts diagrams or similar, so that I can see how to penetrate the plastic shell casing etc.?  I have had good service from this mower, for three or four years, bought after an earlier thread about its good pick-up on, even in the wet, although other members did report trouble with the vari-drive....  

Secondly, there is a clean (second-hand) 2012 Viking MB 655.1 RS at a local dealers, and I wonder if any members know if the steel roller drive on this model is more robust than the drive on mine?
