Van Tyres

Anyone no anything about tyres?

I normally go for new, budget tyres from the local fitters for my Transit. Cost about £80 each but feels like they don't last long at all.

Any advice welcome

I use contin vanco four seasons 2 on the front. On the back a low rolling resistance good wet braking. My current tyres are all m&s rated and you could feel they were more grippy in the wet and cold!

Pirelli or Michelin for me every time a lot more money but last much longer. Like everything you get what you pay for.
I would have thought you could get decent tyres for 100-120 each for a transit

Vanco fourseasons would be about £110 for a transit! The movano has much bigger tyres and they were only £120!

My pickup has michelins on at the minute and they were £175 each!!

But the pickup tyres are huge aren't they??

    Vanco for me.....
  • Continental vanco former too, 25k miles on my transit and still plenty of tread! Budget are not a cheap option
  • My neighbour runs a courier business so very high mileage.  I was shocked when he told me that he used part worn tyres.  He is convinced & wouldn't revert back.  He gets, what are referred to as grade A & they have a lot of tread. They are usually top makes & cost around 30% of the new cost.
