Is there a link to the answers?
I've managed to drift the van, with the trailer attached, but am sure I was under the permitted speed..... :-)
Did you think you were in your car ;-) ?
l'll put up the original sheet (with the limits stated) later.........
As fas as I know car derived (small vans) are 30mph in built up areas, 50mph on single carriageways and 60mph on dual carriageways, then 70mph on motorways.
There's one scenario not shown - Driving with a trailer...any ideas....? Specifically aimed at the pr*tt on the M3 with a Transit & twin axle trailer doing 85mph+ (outside lane as well..)
Ok, I'll bite. I'm prepared to be completely wrong!
1st and 3rd rows, standard limits. Second row also, but limited to 60 on DC/MW when towing?
Thinking about it, and I really want to google it, lol, I think 4th row is the same standard limits, despite the silly "limited to 56MPH" stickers you see driving at 50 in a 30 limit....
I'd guess the last one is also the same. Standard limits, but 60 on DC/MW?
I don't know about 7.5t vehicles.
So, Nick, for nigh-on 30 years, I've been driving too fast without knowing?
Perhaps the DVLA need to have an awareness campaign! I've genuinely never been told my little van can't be driven (not towing) at the speed limit on any roads...
Now we're getting somewhere....there are some surprises in this :-)
100% correct.

The turquoise Hiace that just passed you is pleading ignorance, officer!
I thought I had no restrictions unless towing. :-(
I really don't get why I can only do 60 on a dual carrigeway, when that's no different from a motorway?
Just as an aside, and on the Continent, of course...
The Hiace can hit an indicated 100mph with a bit of a tailwind. It also handles just the same as any RWD supercar, but at legal speeds it's more fun. In many ways it's better than my Porsche at safe speeds....
