Company Details:

Acacia Groundcare are a rapidly growing specialist equipment hire company, providing long and short term hire of landscaping and arboriculture equipment across South East England. Utilising over 60 years combined experience, the company hires out high quality, industry recognised groundcare machinery as well as service/repair customers own equipment.

Role & Responsibilities:

As the spokesperson for Acacia Groundcare, you will be the face of the company, generating leads and meeting potential customers, speaking with existing clients on the phone and in person, building strong relationships and maximising opportunities with potential clients in new and existing markets. You will represent the company at trade shows and demonstrate use of machinery to strengthen customer confidence. Ad Hoc duties and general tasks around the office involve supporting the workshop and office as needed.

You must:

• Be self motivated and positive
• Be willing to pitch in as a team member to get the job done
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Be reasonably computer literate
• Think outside the box to generate leads
• Have good communication skills
• Have previous experience in plant sales or hire
• Be willing to travel to customer sites

The following would be of an advantage:

• Previous experience with a dealer or supplier of groundcare products/machinery
• Financial and business cost understanding
• Be able to tow a trailer
• Understanding of new technology
