Since the recent iOS changes on iPhones and iPads it is now possible to have the Safari mobile broswer behave in a desktop mode.
This opens up the ability to upload photos from your mobile device library or camera into an LJN thread. This also enables the multi function Text editing box while entering your post (ie as used on full browsers on PCs) and removes the annoying habit of HTML tags being left in posts if you re-edit it on a mobile device. A timely reminded from Mr Gadsby on another thread made me realise that most will not know about this feature (plus a hundred more features, options and fixes on iOS 11.xx)
To get access to the full function text editing box, is to simply tell Safari to request opening a website in Desktop site mode (see screen shot)

Some cool new features (.. and a lot I'm still finding )
- Greater 'Send To' options (as shown above)
- Customisable Control Centre
- File App (ie you can now store and document files akin to using Windows style folders)
- New Ad blocking and tracking controls (neat :)
- In Camera QR code support
- Ability to turn web pages into PDFs for later reading etc
- Screen mirroring to another iDevice
- 'Do Not Distrub' while driving option - easy way to keep within law - message sent back to caller
- Better instant markup of photos and documents (useful for site meetings etc)
- One handed keyboard options ( at last ! )
Footnote - there already may be similar options on Android / Google phones - I know nothing ;)

I just tried it and posted the picture from my IPad.
The pickup is my EBay bargain that my wife is not convinced was my best ever buy, I was looking on EBay for a Ifor William trailers with a view of towing one behind my van, then did what I say people should not do, bought a vehicle on EBay without seeing it first though I did look up the MOT history online. I have of course still got the van as well.
Anyway I did succeed in posting the photo using the request desktop option on my Ipad.
