"UK - DATA CONTROL" letter - beware......

We've just had the attached 'formal' letter & form into the office stating a key piece of business information is "missing", implying it's to do with VAT registration. It then directs you to either complete and return an attached form or go online to update it.

The catch?... in the very small print on the form is the fact that by doing so you are effectively & legally "ordering" an advertisment in a publishing directory at £790+vat !!!

It seems they 'target' specific industries and then move on to the next.

A quick google shows it up for what it is......
