Just to give you some background before I ask my question
After having an extension built and new patios etc, one of our weekly customers wants one of the the lawns re-turfing where the builders have been using it as a storage area for several months. He asked me about it well over a month ago. At the time, we were struggling to keep up with work and enquries and it seemed ages away, now all of a sudden we are here! So I've kind of got myself in this position where I think he would be very disappionted if I turned round and said a flat "No" to doing the job at this stage. He would most likely get someone else in to do it. As he is on an annual maintenance agreement that we only started this year, I think that would just complicate matters and neither of us want that.
The builders have cleared up the area quite well and now he is applying subtle pressure on us to get it turfed asap. He's a good customer but after almost 12 months of upheaval he "just wants to get it finished". I know I should have told him Autumn in the first place but I didn't, so we are where we are.
I understand about educating the customer with regards to watering but my question is...
Given the time of year, potential temperatures and the future possibility of a hosepipe ban, would it be a good idea to bury a "seep hose" in the area that we are to turf? Or are there specific hidden / underground irrgation systems for turf that someone could recommend?

if the builders have been using it for several months it will need rotavating
nothing wrong with laying turf this time of year as long as it gets warterd as it should if a water meter is menshend it meens it will not . i do not think a seep (holey pipe) will not be enough with the present condishions and a under ground pop up iragation will cost more than say 1000m3 of water on a meeter
