Might be more Christmassy than you think. looks Brassicaish....Brussel sprout?
Agree on both counts but....it grows well over 6ft if left with no flowers and very straight, hairy stem which is unlike any brassica I know...the top leaves are like brassica - the lower leaves almost look Ribes / Currant-like .......might be a triffid??
