tracked barrows

ive previously used a muck truck and after never having much success with starting it i sold it on. i have on occasions hired out tracked barrows. ive got  job coming up where i will need one for a while, so i am considering purchasing a second hand one rather than hiring. anybody have any advice what to look out for? also anyone used the self loading ones? are thy any good or just another thing to go wrong?
