We've had the heavy duty commercial version of these costing about £1k and it's been fautless for almost 4 years & still going. We've also the domestic version (circa £500) for backup / general use on the fleet and I think we'll get around 1.5-2 seasons out of that, which is good for us and happy with that.
Overall, very happy with our Toro mowers and would recommend. Really take the abuse from multi-operators. Also happy with the weibangs. Our next mower will likely be the Toro pro-strip 56, their version of the Hayter 56 (Toro now own hayter).
Hello John
The mulching on these mowers does sound decent from reviews I've seen and the side discharge on the model I'm looking at is a nice bonus. Thanks for your feedback.
Thanks Andrew, yes it's the domestic version I'm eyeing up and it's making sense at the moment. We currently get around 2 years from the Honda HRX 537's but they are twice the price of a super recycler with average mulching capability and no side discharge.
Will be interested to hear how the pro-strip works out for you.
