Not many up for a debate it would seem! For me personally, and this doesn't involve trying to graft out a living in the the great outdoors (yet!), it's a good thing that I get to walk the dogs in the morning in something like half-light, but dreadful when I travel home at dusk after work without any chance of getting anything done in my own garden. As soon as the clocks go back I start looking forward to the shortest day, then spring is just around the corner and off we go again. So I suppose, in a weird way, I quite like the order of things as they are.
May change my view next year when I'm trying to earn a living 'out there' like all the other wonderful people on here!
Regards,
Keith
leave as it is. id rather get to work and load up vehicles in the morning and be able to see what we are doing and get going first thing, rather than have the time at the end of the day when were packing up anyway
GMT is the datum of the worlds time, so we should use it, if you get further north of Walford (gap) the darker it gets by the time you get to Scotland in mid winter its dark at 8AM again at 4pm and thats not on a cloudy day. do away with British summer time and stick with GMT ALL YEAR ROUND
It's nice to be light in the morning but winter got a bit closer today when I realised how dark it was outside this evening at 6.00pm. Combined with the rain, it certainly hit home.
